Levico Lake in Trentino Alto-Adige (Italy) is the second largest in Valsugana. It is located in the elegant town of Levico Terme, a well-known thermal location.
Set in the green and framed by the mountains, the lake enjoys a wonderful view.
I recommend the long and pleasant walk through the colours and sounds of nature. The path can also be travelled by bike. For trekking enthusiasts, in a couple of hours is possible to make a complete tour of the lake.
The Park has an area equipped for relax, picnic area and playground for little ones. In the south-east part of the lake, there are several hotels and campsites.
Lake Levico in Trentino has been awarded the Blue Flag of Europe for the healthiness of its waters. Very important is the prohibition of navigation for motor vehicles and the absence of discharges. Another thing that I appreciated is the distance of the houses from the shore.
